we got .73 inches in Elma today, warm and it helps with the heating bills, but I live on a hill, and still have lakes in the driveway, and need to put on the waders to go to the shop.

I will remember to here in Missouri to do that. But I don’t have to do that, I just start up the snow blower. LOL just messing around, but I do have one that I use.

That snow is what I have always called “motivational ” here in Canada. Where else you rather be”burning the mid night oil”in your shop or outside in the working in the “cold stuff”.

We have had more snow in Billings than I have seen for many years.
I have had several years of replacing doors and windows in February or March in nothing but a sweater (I wore pants too:) and was quite comfortable. The only traces of snow to be seen would be in the shaded areas and 60 miles away blanketing the Beartooth Mountains.

With the exception of a very rare week in December we have have a very mild winter in southern Oregon with day time temperatures in the 50- 60 degree range. It’s rare for us to ever see snow in our area. Just some rain off and on and as someone said on TV “you don’t have to shovel rain”.

Winter? Good grief, our cherry trees are reddening up with the sap rising. The forsythia is budding, and things are confused all over. Farmer’s Almanac says we are due for one more snow storm, but I’m hoping spring is in for real, this February. Doubt it, though.
