no previous part Part 1 of Chest series no next part

So yesterday I started a blanket chest for my daughter Sunny. (We’re not hippies, her name is Savannah, she just goes by Sunny).
It will be open tenon construction with panels. It is red oak.
Yesterday starting this project. I was thinking how great everything was going. I, like everybody else, have three or four other projects going on at the same time, so I had put off starting on the chest.

You ever have one of those days that everything went right? It was like that yesterday. Other than dropping the arbor nut into my saw when setting up my Dado stack. LOL…Which meant stripping apart my DC to get it out.

Contrast this when the day before I sliced my finger open adjusting my planer knives. Ouch!

Happy woodworking.

The project sounds awesome!

This makes me think I should put a piece of mesh or chicken wire over the DC port in my table saw. Every time I change a blade I think of this happening.
