Yesterday we started working on my son’s 8’x2’ computer and gaming table. He is a great guitar player and has his receiver and mixing board that has to find a home, other then the floor. The table will have two 24” x 24” cabinets with shelves for all his equipment and consoles with a slide out shelf for his sound mixer. I cut all the parts yesterday and painted the inside of the cabinets flat black per his instructions. Today I cut the holes in all the shelfs and in two of the sides to run his wiring and cables. I also painted the outside of the cabinets white and assembled eveything today. Tomorrow I will do the pine trim on the front of the cabinets and stain it with a colonial maple stain. I will post some photos when the project is finished this week-end hopefully. This cabinet is being made with all recycled material that would have landed in the landfill or someone’s wood burning stove.

Looks like it should have plenty of room.
