50 years of relocating animals to 45 countries. Made all the containers myself from single hippo crates to triple deck pig pens for aircraft and ships. This small picture is of a turtle container for transport from Canadian Winter to warm Southern USA.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

What ho Chaps! Thanks for the welcome. Always impressed by everyone else’s work. Wish I could do as well. My carpentry may not be as artistic, but it has to be creative to make suitable containers for any animal, to meet international standards, wood packaging regulations, airline specifications, international legislation and welfare rules. What really interests me in this site is to see others’ workshops, jigs, and methods of work.
