Location: Verbank, NY

I am retired after 35 years of teaching cabinet making and general wood shop, as well as electric, metal working, welding, mechanical drawing, photo 1 & 2, and jewelry. I absolutely loved teaching high school students, many of whom are now as adults fast wood working friends. I was so blessed to have chosen teaching as my vocation after trying several other occupational paths.
I have a very cluttered wood shop with more than enough tools and equipment to have fun in my retirement. I have extensive collection of old wood working hand tools.
I enjoy working on antique tractors and own a couple that are in various states of complete restoration.
I am also an avid fishermen and USCG licensed captain. I have and am currently operating a charter fishing business on Lake Ontario, Trophy Seeker Charters out of Bayside Marina in Fair Haven NY for the past 30 years. This is where my nick name, trophy, comes from.

Hello all, Thank you for the warm welcome. I am a retired “shop teacher” 35 years worth of teaching cabinetmaking skills to wonderful students, many who now as adults are fast friends. I hope to learn more from this web site and feel very welcomed. I will get around to loading a profile, very busy right now.
Merry Christmas to all

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
