I found this plan in a Fine Woodworking book but it was pretty skimpy on details. I’m looking for some more detailed plans and can’t seem to come up with anything. It was in #171 Fine Woodworking magazine but even that isn’t available.
I found Michael Fortune’s web site….I may have to try emailing him.

any help would be greatly appreciated…..this piece is really eyecathing.

I looked over the article and it was short on info. The piece is unique. The sides were formed via bent laminations that were then veneered. The hinges blend into the bead on the front of the piece. Not much more to go on there… if you have experience working with curved laminations, go for it! If not, this is probably the best place to learn. HTH
