Working with and drying Japanese yew (shrub) wood - 2 replies Hello all, This weekend we finally pulled out some overgrown yew shrubs. I remembered that Philip Weber (http://www.weberboxes.com) uses pacific yew in some of his boxes. The table is made with meranti dimensional lumber and meranti plywood for the deck. Slab table hints - 6 replies Hello all, This weekend Rockler in Cambridge MA had a sale where their slabs were 50% off. I picked up two slabs of Japanese Cherry.
