Topic tags/keywords: accuride piliaster face frame cabinet pull-out shelves

Hi all,

I’m building a kitchen pantry and plan on using Accuride’s pilaster mounting kit (4180-0266-XE) along with Accuride 3832 drawer slides. I’m having a hard time, however, determining the size of the drawers I’ll need to build, along with figuring out if I’ll have enough clearance due to a 1 1/4” overhang of the face frame on the pantry (2” wide face frame attached to 3/4” cabinet).

I’ve emailed Accuride and haven’t had much luck getting a response. Has anyone out there used this system, particularly with face frames? Searching Accuride’s web site hasn’t turned up anything, nor has extensive Googling.

Thanks for any help!

Hi,
I have not used the accuride pilaster, we use the Tenn-Tex pilaster for mounting adjustable drawers. Tenn-Tex makes a pilaster that is 1 1/4” so this would allow the correct distance. We would measure the inside wall to wall, subtract 2 1/2” for the pilaster system then deduct 1 1/16 for the Accuride 3832 full extension slides.
No matter who’s pilaster system you are using your drawer size needs to be the clear opening of the cabinet minus 1 1/16”

Thanks slideoutshelves! I think I’m just going to go with the face frame kit and the 3732 slides instead of the 3832. So 1 1/16” is the amount I deduct from the opening to determine the drawer width? I couldn’t figure out if it was 1” or 1 1/16”. Accuride’s instructions never make it clear, and their tech help is no help.

Thanks for the help!
