Anyone know the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day?

What difference does it make? Both honor those that served, in one you gotta die first, I’m happier than a P.I.S to be included in the other group’s day.

Maybe the gov. needs to consider adding one more day, a day for the non military that served a purpose and or gave their lives in the effort. We never hear about all the invisible civilians that gave their all.

Memorial Day started out as a day to honor the fallen Union Army (GAR) soldiers. Slowly evolved into all fallen soldiers.

Veteran’s Day started out as the celebration of the end of fighting in Europe during the First World War ( The Great War) evolved into a celebration for all whom made it back home. It also salutes those who gave their all.

All I can say is…Richard Milhouse Nixon saved my rearend, when he started to pull troops out in ‘72…..
