I’ve build a cedar arbor and I have to finish it to match this existing cedar pergola that’s been there for years. I’ve already tried 4 stains and none come close. I’m not even sure if it’s a stain. Any ideas on how best I can whittle down my options? Thanks in advance!

Sometimes with some woods a natural patina cant be matched, Cherry is one of them, with that said, usually cedar with no finish on it turns a whitish gray. Or is that white cedar not red?

Thanks for your replies! The homeowner says it’s cedar. I actually just got a match from Sherwin Williams. I got lucky and ran across a manager who really knew his stuff. Thanks for your help though!
