I thought it was just my connection. Seems things are taking a long time to open and it took quite a while for me to re-log in after browsing about 10 hours ago. Usually I just stay logged in on the weekends because I keep checking through out the day…to day I have had to log in several times.

Looks like the server is being reconfigured or we have been stuffed on a slow server temporarily.

Martin identified on another thread that the provider for LJs is suffering a stupid (my work) denial of service attack by some yahoo (my phrasing not Martin’s) or yahoos with nothing better to do. This is like that stupid graffiti you see people apply, it does nothing that contributes just makes the world a little bit uglier.
