OK. So, now I have done a couple projects and my wife says – new kitchen next. So, where can I get plans for most common cabinets, bases and top? She just wants white shaker style, so it shouldn’t be hard, but plans would be great.

Hey Keith
There are some good books on Cabinet making by Jim Tolpin and then you develop your own layout

Keith, Jim pretty well covered it. a couple good books on cabinet making and go for it. The lay-out will depend on your floor space. There are a few guidelines to help with layout, but that is usually covered in any book about building kitchen cabinets. Good luck and keep us posted.

I have to agree with Jim and John. Also go to your local Lowes or Home Depot and pick up a cabinet booklet from one of their suppliers. These booklets give a lot of information on sizes and also gives you good info on layout. Use those to figure out what you need in your kitchen and then build your own using the books Jim and John suggested.
