So I have a beautiful new Grizzly table saw. It’s all out together. But the manual shows this …

And all I see is this …

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Put the key in. If it’s missing, call Griz.

check the saw packaging. the safety key is missing.

My guess would be just like shown in the manual page you provided:

(but probably a different color :)

Just a guess but is there a flap door on the bottom of the

red paddle switch? Maybe the key is in there.

Well … If it was that easy, I probably wouldn’t have as many questions :-)

Unfortunately, the key didn’t look like that one. Several parts of the manual are clearly used as generic directions and pictures for all their saws. There were several times when I had to wing it.

Finally found it !! hidden in the corner of the box with all the rails and fence …

Given that it is such a valuable piece, you would think they would put it in a less conspicuous place.
