Yes, boy and girls, you heard it right. Lie-Nielsen Toolworks is coming to Houston, TX on September 25-26 so start saving your money now. This is all because of me and my big mouth. I just wanted everyone to know so tell everyone that you know that this is going down. I am going to post more details in the days to come. Pass this on to every woodworker that you know. I would like to get 1,000 there from all over Texas so they have more of a reason to come back more often.

it’s a great show , he was just here at red rocks for his fall show before school started, lots of cool demos and they let you try out all there hand planes and chisels. have fun, and bring cash so the wife cann’t see how much you spend on the creditcard bill.

Yeah, I went to the one in Austin, TX back in January. It was pretty cool, and I did buy 2 hand planes. I just want them to come so someone will come to Texas.

Yeah, but we have at ours in Houston, TX is going to be my buddy, Brian at BC Woodworks (www.bcwoodwork.com), will be giving away $5,000 worth of lumber including a $1,000 slab. Check out his slabs on his website. He has the best Texas’ woods money can buy. Plus, I will be able to buy freshly slabbed up Ike wood from Hurricane Ike. It will be sort of like going to the Deli but getting live oak instead.

We are pretty jazzed.

Yes, I am getting ready for this one as well. I am excited to see some of the wood harvested from Galveston after Ike. Keep everyone update.
