This popped up on the local craigslist for $50. I am not interested in the saw itself, but the fence and rails. Maybe I could migrate this fence to my Bosch 4100 with some mechanical magic. but I can not figure out if this is a crappy clone of a biesemeyer, or a delta hybrid.

No. It’s the fence from a Delta compact saw with a universal motor….only 22” deep. There were several models of the same saw…36-600, TS300, 34-670, etc. The fence is much lighter duty than a Biese or even a T2. It might work on your Bosch, but I don’t know if it’s any better.

ok. phoey. was worth a consideration to upgrade my bosch 4100 fence (which, I actually do not mind but still would prefer nicer fence). Guess I’ll just have to keep dreaming of finding a brand new SawStop with a Biesemeyer at an auction for $50. :)

Buy the Delta and sell the Bosch.

If I buy another saw, it will be a true cabinet saw. This bosch 4100 is great for someone starting out in wood working, very economical, and space saving. I have started to grow past that. I will keep it forever as a 2nd saw for dado’s or such.
