You’re welcome.
Updates are coming soon (assuming that the Apple approval takes less than two weeks this time)

Thanks for the heads up; I downloaded it. Should come in handy. Just curious, why do all the fractions get converted to a denominator of 16?

Thanks for the question.

I wanted to get something in to Apple for review, and that was a quick solution to irregular fractions.

I’m considering a few different ideas to improve it in the next update.

- Maintain the denominator entered.
- Set a preference for 4th, 16th, or 32nd.
- Keep it as is.

Do you have any preferences?

Although I haven’t had much time to use it, I think my preference would be for the fraction to show up as whatever I enter. The way you are doing it now can get you into problems…for example, when I enter 3/32” it shows up as 1/16”, which is clearly incorrect. I guess for this type of application I don’t really see a need to make all fractions have the same denominator…what is your reasoning for that?

Another suggestion (I hope you don’t mind my input) is to increase the number of digits on your decimal conversion. Couple examples: 1/8” shows up as 0.12in instead of 0.125 and 3/32” shows up as 0.09in rather than 0.09375in.

Overall, I like the app and I look forward to your updates. Good Luck!

Thank you. I appreciate the input. Any other comments you have are welcome.

Adding a digit is easy, as long as it still fits on the screen. I might be able to get that in to Apple today. I also want to fix those leading 0’s that keep showing up.

I need to put a little thought into the best way to handle the denominators.

Sorry, but it’s only on the iPhone. I don’t have any immediate plans on expanding to other platforms. I’m still learning this one.

Thanks for asking.
