I have a DeWalt 14” radial arm saw model GA 505 that I a rebuilding. If anyone has an owners manual for this machine I will pay you for a copy. Mine is now in great shape and I am ready to make a new table. I mainly need the instructions to adjust the table correctly. Thanks in advance. Does anyone know when this machine was made? It has a round top arm and a flat bottom 5hp motor.

Many manuals are available for download at the http://www.owwm.com/ (Old Wood Working Machines) web site.

Wolf Machinery.

They own the rights for the old DeWalt RAS’s and supply parts, manuals, and refurbished saws.

Blake, I looked at Wolf Machinery online and didn’t find my model listed. I will call them tomorrow and hope for better results. I really thought someone on Lumberjocks would have a saw like mine. Maybe not. Thanks

jslo,
I’m beginning the same type of process with an old ‘GA’ I’ve found. Dustin Dishner was nice enough to find me a parts manual that should help you if it’s the same saw.
Here’s the link. Hope it helps. Keep me posted on your progress!

After a cursory look around, I didn’t really find any ‘useful’ info on that website. I just signed up for the basic membership. What did you manage to find?

As you can see then it is a lot of discussions. If you click the start tab and then click on the FAQ tab you will be taken to a listing of a lot of the more useful discussions. With that said, Roger Hill, one of the members/contributors to the forum has written two extremely useful documents regarding rebuilding and adjusting them. If you send me your e-mail in a PM I will pass them along.
