Anyone ever used Osage Orange for making a box?

Just do a search on Ljs and I think you’ll find a few

never made a box out of it but i have turned a few bowls from it and it is a really good stable wood, great colors if you get a nice piece.

I have used Osage or hedge apple as the call it here, a few times. Beautiful, but very hard and very dense. It will dull your tools quicker than other hardwoods so be patient and keep honing frequently. It is a gorgeous color when finished whether oil or shellac. Post some pics when you’re finished.
