Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw

Looking at a Craigslist offering on one of these. There seems to be a near vacuum of information out there on this beast. Found one very short thread here on LJ, but no solid info. Strangely I could not find anything resembling a review for this unit, despite the fact that they still sell it (or some sort of a 24” bandsaw).

Any experience you can share with me would be much appreciated.

-- Last week I finally got my $*i# together. Unfortunately, it was in my shop, so I will probably never find it again.

couldn’t find a 22….but did find a 20 and a 24 inch.

the 20 is approx a 500 lb machine with cast iron wheels and a liberal size table.

No data on the trunnion found.

It appears to be at the low end of the import machines.

Fuzzy pics and no ability to zoom in for a close look

NOTE, their data sheet states at the bottom that specs or not guaranteed to be identical to the specs given.

If it was cheap enough….i guess it might be ok….. but bandsaws of any size will be an exercise in frustration if things don’t stay in alignment, not to mention wheels that are not coplanar or balanced. My guess is that what this machine is all about.

What is the asking price?

It’s a 24” (actually, he measured blade to column and came up with 23?). Says it was made in ‘93

I haven’t been able to find any horror stories about this model.

I re read and saw that you stated a 24 inch.

At that price i think i might have already gone after it.

Looks decent !
