I’m new to LumberJocks and I have a question on blogging here. (I’m posting it here because I was not not sure the best place to post it and I do not see a FAQ). This question is not covered in the terms so, I thought I’d ask.

I’d like to share my blog with all of the the LJ’s. However, I blog at my own website and I don’t necessarily want to duplicate that content each time I post. Is it permissible to start a blog here at LumberJocks that has a short into for each post and then shows a link to my personal blog?

Just wanted to check to be sure that this does not viaolate any rules here at LumberJocks. Thanks, I’m enjoying participating in the site very much

I would think we’d encourage it. I’ve moved my blogging to Lumberjocks, but when I first got here, I did the same as you are proposing. Go for it and we look forward to reading your entries!

Mark,

you’re welcome to do that.

I think you’ll consider posting more and more original content on your LJ blog down the road because instant feedback is unbeatable here ;)

Martin,

Thanks for the info and the OK to do that. I’ll go ahead and link to the content I already have put together.

I just wanted to say that this is a great woodworking community that you have created. Keep up the good work and I’ll continue to contribute as mush as I can!

Oh, hey and your from Webster, NY!
I’m originally from Buffalo and a lot of my family is still back there – my cousin Gene and Marlene Rogalski live in Webster – and my sister lives in Brockport.
