DOH! Well if you can’t find another piece of walnut that matches well you could always just ship all of the pieces over to me! Though I really like the design and hope you decide to finish it!! -- James - What's your excuse this time?? |

That’s Sand it, spit shine it and send it my way. I’ll put the last piece on for you. What piece is missing? -- What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. No wait that doesn't sound right. Karson Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com † |

Too bad 3 of the legs aren’t a bit closer to center so the third could be lifted :-)) Nice work!! -- Debt is nothing more than the 21st Century's form of slavery. |

See there!!! That’s how art is created. If it didn’t have the character it’d just be another well made and pretty bench. Now ya got something to really talk about. “Mistake hell! I designed it that way.” |

I FORGOT TO ASK….Can I make one like it? |

Sweet stool. If you have ever seen the movie “Beetlejuice” with Michael Keeton and Winona Rider in the 80’s it reminds me of a scene it it. I love the choice of wood and the jointery is top notch -- Ben Kahmann Dayton, OH |

Really nice looking walking table. That is a fantastic design, even if I say so myself. I love it. Great job. -- Jerry--A man can never have enough tools or clamps |

is it artistic design or does it seem like one of the legs is going in the wrong direction? Awesome project none the less – I love the walnut -- What do you mean it's square? How did that happen? |
|

Yep, “artistic design”, Yeah, that’s it, no doubt about it. |

I am making a quilting hoop holder for the Wife. I glued up oak 1×4’s with a slot so a 1×2 can go up and down. I added some butterflies on the edges. I measured I marked and cut. The Butterflies are Wenge. 1 is lower than the other. I was gonna repair it. She said no. That it was a design statement rather than a mistake. She said I should make a mistake on every piece now. Something slight or proud. She said that could be my signature. If anyone asks you just meant to do it. -- Measure once cut twice....oh wait....ooops. |

Ok, now you got it, and you don’t want to sell it. But consider how much attention it will draw to the pieces you really want to sell. Display it along side the others. Then put a BIG sign on it that says “Not for sale!” Watch what happens. :) -- Wonderful new things are coming! - God |

Brian: The joinery is absolutely fabulous. I wonder if you could steam bend the odd leg and put into the hole in the top. That would really cause a bunch of comments. I’d hate to think what you’d call it then. All kidding aside, don’t give up the ship. I’ll bet that there is no-one reading this blog who hasn’t done the same sort of thing at least once in their career. By the way, I grew up inWestmount. Where are you located? Brian, That’s a great design and would never think of changing it. I agree with dirtclod, put a big sign on it “NOT FOR SALE” and watch how people react. -- John @ Myrtle Beach |
