Topic tags/keywords: shop name

My wife and I are trying to come up with a name for my shop. My last name is german and the English translation is Woodpecker. So we are trying to feed off of that. One of our favs is Woodpecker’s Wooden Wonders….yay, nay? thoughts or input?

I think there is a line of tools by that name..

Since my shop in the cellar is almost Dungeon like….I just call it The Dungeon Shop.

Drei Holen makers. Or, if you wish…Tree Hole Maker’s Shop.

Last bench i built was called the “Hellferstouten AG” to hold a bandsaw.

Thanks for the honesty dkv…the more I read it the more I agree. Just in the beginning parts of the thought process. If nothing else it was worth a little chuckle

Add the German and give the logo a little flourish around it. Kinda old world.

I can’t think of a clever suggestion right now, but the name of the business should tell the public what you do.

The Woodpecker? Sounds like someone in Quebec has got that one already. Try Holtzpecker.

Or, you could mix it up a little and call it Peckers Wood Shop,
and if your first name is Hairy, well you get it…
