As many might know, I have had a problem with my WWII Saw Blade. Well, I finally got an answer from Forrest and they said it would not be cost effective to send the blade back and have it repaired again. No problem. I went to the internet looking for the cheapest WWII I could find. Then I stumbled upon Librawood. Their web address is www.librawood.com. They have their WWII’s for $97 including shipping. They actually have the new Forrest 48 tooth WWII for $101 including shipping which I ordered to give it a shot. I tried to order online and for some reason the transaction did not go through. I picked up the phone and called them and a gentleman by the name of “Pete” answered. Well, its a long story, but 25 minutes later I was still talking to Pete! You can tell he has a passion for woodworking. Great guy. I finally tried to order the blade again online and the transaction went through this time. I would highly recommend giving them a shot if you need blades or bits. I haven’t really searched their site fully yet, but I will be. Hell, I would pay extra to talk to a nice guy like Pete when I ordered stuff. I will update how long shipping takes when I receive the blade. I will also do a review of the new 48 tooth WWII. Just giving everyone a heads up! Jeff -- Jeff, Indiana |
