A while ago I signed up to PW on-line and ticked the box that says ” sure . . . send me some emails from time to time. I noticed that there were a few in my in my in-box, but I rarely read them unless something catches my eye.

This evening I actually looked at the number and frequency of PW emails. For the month of July I received one just about every day if not every second day. August appears to be the same. Seems a little excessive to me. I know that I can unsubscribe, but I might miss out on something good. :-)

This is not a complaint . . . just an observation.

I too signed up for their emails and it seems one in five has anything useful. I like to read, but I don’t think I really need to buy books and such as regularly as they want me to.

And, does anybody other than this Schwartz guy work there? He seems to be the only one who ever says anything and, frankly, I’m not that impressed.
