Topic tags/keywords: veneer fleece back bamboo

Hi All,
I’m looking at using a fleece-backed bamboo veneer to finish off a speaker project. The substrate is 3/4” MDF. I know I can use veneer glue as an adhesive for paper-backed or raw veneer, but what about fleece-backed? Should I be using something different?

Thank you kindly,
Adam

Well I’ve just received my veneer. The fleece is… almost non-existent. If someone had told me it had no backing, I would’ve believed them. So should I take the plunge and use just any old veneer glue?

Have your say...
