Robert, did you try to orbit the picture? ;) This is one of the few things I have for which there’s no SKP file. Sorry. Tony, you’ve got it essentially. I used it when I was building my first sailboat to locate a line for installing screws. the lower arm is adjustable so the pencil draws a line offset from the edge of whatever is on the underside. Looks like something that adds an “extra hand”. The “top” rests on the bench, pinned by a bench dog. The sliding part can be adjusted to support an long piece of stock Never Mind |
