HI, Anyone know how to post video clips that come attached to an email? I have a couple tables a friend send as video clips that will amaze everyone if I can figure out how to show you. Thx ;-))

Check with Brian Havens – he’s been posting streaming video and some clips from his shop. I think you can do it through You Tube also…upload there and then post the links…there are instructions on their page….

Basically you need a host to store the steam and allow playback…..then just a link

I can’t find how to access the video clip to save it any where. The properties page is basically blank and it isn’t a fiile with an extension. When it opens it just has a internet like 69.xxxc.xx…. Nothing I can bring up seems to do anything with it. They are really cool, a walking table and a round table that expands!! :-))

I’m already in photobucket. I’ve made enough mistakes to get the Flintstones car posted ;-))

ahhh..sounds like you are opening a hyperlink…Can you get your friends to send you the actual video… or else you will need to use something like FTP to get the file to your computer….they can send it as an attachment to an email….but always be careful and scan first…or else you can post the hyperlink here and have folks be referred to the video…

I’m sure my friend had it forwarded to him. How do you post a hyper link? I have only been able to forward it so far.

There is a button on top of the blog box here to post a hyperlink…you can address it several ways…an example as follows -

www.”location or name of site here – you can use the ip address too…like 101.2.3.255”.com”or net or org”
then you highlight the text and cllick on the hyperlink button. The link is good if it turns blue (or a different color than your normal one…you can preview and test it also.

You can get the address by opening the file on your computer and looking at the address in your browser…
