I’m in the process of building a bench out of an live edge Ash slab with walnut for the base. I did a mock up of the design for the base and hated it. My question is, does anyone out there know of a book that deals with nothing but benches. I don’t mean the how to type book but one that shows numerous styles, types, and designs, etc. Thanks for your help.

You will receive ideas faster by just googling ‘rustic bench’, ‘modern rustic bench’, ‘Japanese bench’ and the like. Save all the pictures you like in a folder, view them all 5-7 times a day for 5-7 days – and your own design will come to you. If you are fortunate, you will be happy with your final design completely finished built bench in 5-7 weeks.
