Hi,
I’m upgrading to a larger planer. I’ve been looking at the Powermatic 180 (older, green model). However, I recently saw a used 24” Lobo for sale. I do not know anything about this brand and wondered if anyone had seen any reviews on this equipment. How does it compare to the older Powermatic? Thanks.
Also, thank you for all the welcoming. Excited to learn more about this site. Thanks Again!

I don’t know about Lobo but suggest you look at Grizzly.

If you don’t mind me asking…what price range are these tools at ? Depending on what they are asking….I would agree with Jim. If they are a really good deal….then great…if it is just a so so deal…then I would look at a Grizzly. I just bought a new one a few months ago and absolutely love it. I had been looking at some used ones…and for a few hundred dollars more…I got a brand new spiral planner.

By the way…welcome to LumberJock’s !!!
