Well well it seems it’s a year ago today I joined you great people as a jock. I thought it was tomorrow anyway thanks for the wonderful brotherly love you have shown me, and I hope I have not been to much of a nuisance during my first year .You are such definitely very wonderful people everyone of you have become my dear friends and I have found this site to be a big part of my life now ,as I got back into woodworking after a gap of three years or so .Love to all Alistair your friend in Scotland.

Hoots mon Alistair, a year already, Well you can expect a Jock to stay somewhere were it is free! lol
I look forward to your posts and imagine you saying the words in a wonderful Scottish dialect which I miss since I was raised in England. So from this Sasanach, Happy aniversary and many, many more.
I can just imagine Alistair telling this tale in his dialect:
“It’s been raining Cats and Dogs here—————there are Poodles all over the place” lol

I’m coming upon 1 year myself. Working for the railroad and having family time makes it difficult to get out in the shop and make a mess, but it’s always worth it to come in here and see what’s going on with everyone.

Hi Scotsman,
Happy anniversary, I noticed you live in Argyll. I have been to Oban, Loch Ness, Inverness, Loch Lomond, and my son studied at University of Glasgow. I have a brother in Swindon Wilts. Scotland is a very beautiful part of the world.
Hope you are coping with your disability and satisfying yourself with woodworking. I have recently retired and hope to post previous projects, as well as up-coming labours. Love it and find it gratifying.
