Topic tags/keywords: question I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? The first, & second image loads up fine, but it seems to stall on the others. The last two times I posted a project I had this problem. The only way I could upload was to post my project, then edit it, adding one image at a time. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

I can’t say I’ve had the problem. Photo uploads tend to be on the slow side, but no noticeable difference between the first pic and the sixth. -- Charlie M. "Woodworking - patience = firewood" |

That’s one thing nice about LJs. You don’t have to monkey around transferring to a different site to upload projects, but you do have to use them if you go over 6 images. Blogs, & forums, you need Photobucket, or others. When you want to post a project, just click on upload images, & open a file, choose an image & click enter. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

Just a thought, would it help if you saved the post after uploading the first two pics, then edit the post and upload the rest? -- Tim: Remember, if it doesn't say Binford, someone else made it. |

That’s how I’ve had to do it lately, but I could upload all 6 images with no problem before. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

Always happens to me. I have to do the same upload, save. edit, upload. save. repeat. -- I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso -- http://blanchardcreative.etsy.com -- http://snbcreative.wordpress.com/ |

Thank you Scott, I never had this problem before, maybe it’s the heavy traffic on this site now. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

Dick, it might have something with your server speed, or you might have exceeded your limit on uploads & your provider has put you on a slower connection. Another reason maybe that there is a lot of traffic on the server at the time. Who knows. Sometimes I have a very epeedy connection & other times as slow as a wet week. -- Grumpy - "Always look on the bright side of life"- Monty Python |

Thanks Grumpy, I just shut my modem off for a few minutes, sometimes that’s all it takes. I guess the modem reboots itself when you do that. I won’t know unless I try uploading some more images. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

The same problem I have been suffering. I was thinking it happens to me because I am from outside of US. -- Junji Sugita from Japan, http://tetra.blog12.fc2.com/ |
