Hi all. Some might remember me posting a link to a contest to win a weekend in my shop by submitting a project idea to build with me….well, the entries are closed and the “powers that be” have narrowed the entries down to three finalists. I’m hoping I can persuede you to come over and vote for which one you think would be the best “weekend build”. (We’re used to voting on projects here at LJ….right?) I sincerely appreciate the help! Being a Canadian site, we don’t get a ton of traffic, so I hope with the help of my southern neighbours we can get some serious vote #’s posted! http://www.canadianhomeworkshop.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9387 Thanks guys, you are the best. Hi Jim. Thanks! Did you vote on the site? I have absolutely NO bearing on the outcome, they are going by the posted votes only. I think you might have to register to vote, but it only takes a minute to do. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Girls included in that “guys” ;) ) -- If you can't set a good example, at least serve as a horrible warning... www.rarewoodcreations.com |

Thanks Don! Your project is also great, exactly what I want to do. How great would it be to build something like that and have one of my girls show their kids the memory box and say “your grandpa made this for me when I just little” and show them all the treasures they have collected over the years. -- Alan, Prince George |

I didn’t have to pay $28 dollars. At the bottom of the post I clicked on “My Home and Garden account”. I had make up a user name and password and give my email and you can choose not to receive additional emails. I received an email to confirm my account, which I clicked on. I then closed the original webpage and reloaded it (I assume I could have just hit refresh) and then I had the option to choose 1, 2 or 3. Thanks all who have tried to vote. -- Alan, Prince George |
