The Thos. Moser dining room set I built in the mid-90’s is now in my daughter’s possession. We had a very open floor plan home built and didn’t include a breakfast nook. That left me with an extra table and chairs. My daughter and son-in-law moved into an apartment that was big enough to receive this set recently.

I managed to fit the whole thing in the back of my Subaru Forester!

It’s neat to see hundreds of hours worth of furniture put to good use….

I’m starting my hoop backs this summer. Can’t wait to sink a couple hundred hours into them!!!

That is a good looking table and chair set! I am sure the daughter will appreciate it.

Now, how cool is that?
I just love Moser stuff. That is a very nice set. You should be proud.

Thanks. It’s funny how we think more in hours instead of dollars on the high-level projects. I think that at my fastest, these chairs each took 40-50 hours to make. The back bows and leg braces on the chairs; and the curved apron rails on the table are laminated. That’s a lot of stock prep! The Bates rocking chair and the Queen Anne footstool in the background are also from my shop.
