So my father in law is letting me use his table saw until I get a cabinet saw down the road. Really he doesn’t mind because he doesn’t have room for it and it just sits in storage anyways most of the time until he needs it for a few minutes then back in storage.
With it being here I can use it and then he has free access to it as needed as well as the space to use it so it works out.
The belt that was on it – was terrible. I fired the saw up and it sounded like it was going to jump around or fall apart. The motor tensions on the belt and I could see the motor moving around due to the belt.
Ordered the Grizzly PowerTwist belt and put it on – the 4’ belt was the perfect size and now it runs smooth as silk.
Here’s a short video of it running now – prior it sounded terrible now it sounds smooth. Not a whole lot to see in the video but no real good way for me to capture audio only.
