3 phase is a minor issue…
Crescent jointers are my favorite jointer, very basic and simple. The 4 incline adjusters are very reliable and cheaper to make than the newer parallelogram style jointers.

minor issue if you have three phase or phase convertor, my favorite is Moak

That’s a great price. The three-phase power is not a real issue. If you want to plan on having one three-phase toolI will get a VFD. If you plan on buying a lot of old American iron then I will go with the Rotary phase converter it will be cheaper in the long run. I don’t know from the age or the pictureif that tool has babbet bearings or not. It does not appear to be. Those are tricky if they have to be redone. See it run if possible. Check condition of head.

Looks like a steal of been good shape. Good luck and post pictures. We all love new toys even if they belong to someone else.

direct drive motor would be ball bearings, thats a good deal from what I’m seeing on ebay and machinery dealers
