Topic tags/keywords: tablesaw jointer clamp blade drill press router shaper dust collector

I think I just made the haul of a lifetime…. I’ll admit there have been times ive seen where others have scored a great deal on an item, and while im happy for them, ive silently wondered “Why cant I ever seem to find a deal like that”? Well I think that all changed today! I was on the hunt for a unifence and rail…..I drove away with a truck and trailer filled. With a return trip for more!

Contents of the Haul.

3 hp dual bag shopfox 3000fcm dust collector
3hp 10 inch Delta rockwell Table saw (just maintenanced by delta, new bearings and balancing March 2015) 120/240
Unifence system rail and fence setup

3 Hp Shopfox Long bed Jointer on “step-raise” swivel casters 120/240
RockWell 3/4 HP Radial Drill Press & Stand 120v 25 Ft Clear Collector flex hose
10 Blast gates with adapter kits and Bell Reducers
10 Bar Clamps 24-36 inches
3 Bessey 24” f Clamps
6 3/4 inch Jorgensen Pipe Clamps 8’
All tools for machines as well as any jigs or attachments for all machinery
Freud Super Dado Set
New Rockler Slow Raised Panel Shaper Bit
New Rockler Traditional Rail & Style shaper bit set
New Rockler 2 1/8 Back cutter
New Rockler Shaker Rail and Style Set
4 10” Forest Sawblades
2 Avanti 10” blades
Operators/ owners manuals for ever piece of equipment with maintenance records and original invoices

I have to make a return trip tomorrow as the fella is consolidating everything in his shop to move to florida. I’ll pick up any other tools he isnt wanting to keep as well as a half truckload of 3/8 verneer maple plywood, 1/2 Inch Birch Plywood ans 3/4 Birch Plywood as well as another half truck load of roughcut hardwoods. Also about 100 ft of 6 inch dust collector lines (PVC Continuously Grounded) with all fittings for collections of all blast gates for machines.

COST to SEAL the DEAL…............... $ 2,600

Will I ever top this deal, or is this my once in a lifetime break?

Good for you….

The thing about deals like this is that you can really only benefit from them early in your shop setup process…. and I you have a wad of cash.

I recently saw a “whole shop package” nearby, but I have already acquired 90% of what the guy was selling (some better some not as good). Of course, I could have set up shop for 1/4 the price if I had this opportunity (and the cash) 15 years ago.

The deal is ok, based on all the ‘extra bits and pieces’.

if it were just the Contractor Tablesaw, Shaper, 6 inch Jointer and drill press for 2600..then it would be high.

At this point, I think the “searching for a good deal” period of your life is over and done with!
Congrats.

Lots of toys and building material to keep you busy for a long time. I hope you have a place for all of that stuff.
If not, just pick up the phone and dial 634-5789! :-)
