So, if you’ve read my thread about attempting to purchase a grinder Woodcraft Woburn, MA, you’ll know that I was ind desperate need of sharpening my gouges. Well, fellow Lumberjock MrFid, lives nearby and offered the use of his grinder. So, the other night I got to drive over and met the man himself. Nice guy and gave me a quick lesson on sharpening my tools. it was nice to be able to talk woodworking with someone else that appreciates it. The wives can only say “that’s nice” so many times.

Thanks MrFid. Hope we can link up for a pint sometime and maybe work on a project together.

Thank you very much Chris for coming! It was my pleasure to meet you and hang out for a little. I was also glad to be able to talk to another woodworker. Let’s definitely do a project together sometime. If that project is bending our arms at a local brewpub that would work for me as well.

I help a fellow coworker that is just starting out in woodworking. I find it enjoyable to help a person learn the craft. Since I teach woodworking at school it is great to have someone willing to work at it and get better.
