Alistair \ good for you son,
You will soon have more drills than A1Jim has routers.
I have 3 Makita 3612 routers and they are great.
I actually have 2 Ryobi 14.4 drills bought for AU$60.. about GBP 29.00…. with all the trimmings 2 batts etc,
When the batteries died on the first one I bought a second now have 2 drills and 2 batteries,
Will look for a deal on makita drills in my area and see if I can get as good a buy as Bronwen,.

Nice pickup, that line of Makita drill (I got the 12V) is the most comfortable and best weight/size/power non Li-Ion drill out there IMO. The design might not be the newest but it’s my favorite

Hello Alastair,
You gave me the idea to also buy a new cordless drill. I have an old Ryobi, and need a new one. I’ll let you know what one I end up with.
Guys love their tools huh?

Have a great weekend !
