I have a JetLock fence complete with two sets of rails, a Unifence head part only, some jointer sized woodie planes, some 6’ aluminum channel with wheels every inch or so, an incomplete Walker Turner SM700 belt disc combo sander, maybe a Craftsman tube style lathe, some RC cars, and some other stuff that is of no real interest. What do you have?

Hmm Jet lock fence n rails? Let me think of what might be a good trade/////
What are you for any ideas. I’ll get back to you with my ideas. Gotta run right now.
Will check back…. Some Lignum V ? I could trade some of my stash from jamaica.shhh
We’re not supposed to have Lignum logs from there…aka they call it iron wood there.
I’m a fiend for that wood! Guiacum sanctum and officiinal spelling < wrong

I’ll throw this in to see if there’s any interest. New PC Laminate Trimmer Kit, model #97311. It just came out of a basement, but it has NEVER been used. The plastic bag with the 1/4” collet and bits hasn’t even been opened. If anyone is interested in swapping for this, let me know what you have to offer and we can exchange pics via email. After a week here, I’ll just put it up for sale.

I have an older version of a Shopsmith pin router that is perfect. It was never used. I have had it for a few years and it is time for it to go. I got it as part of a woodworking tools package I purchased some time back. I just don’t have a need for it. It would make a great addition for a Shopsmith user and collector. It is green.

I also have a Leigh Super 24 dovetail jig if someone is interested. please look at Leigh’s site to get info on it. It is not a D4. It is also in new condition.

Hmm…lets be open minded here….I bet alot of those better halves are saying the same thing about us…I know mine would like someone that pays more attention to her then to a nice shiny new tool or some “wierd looking” piece of lumber (her description). Or, her most irksome complaints, someone (unlike me) who can go into a shoe store without complaining about the prices for a tiny piece of leather on a flick of wood….or a clothing store..or a material shop…etc…etc..

Needless to say…We all have our picadillos…some more than others…

Now as for trades…I have a few spare items….after moving my stuff from yard to shop…and will post a few pics for anyone with interests….I also have some “antiques” that I absorbed from my better half’s father who passed away some time ago….which also include some craftsman stuff – router, sander….sabre saw….they are all in good shape…but I already have better ones I use.

I had someone tell me that if I start early in life I can keep my hair. I asked how and he said in a shoebox. I didn’t start early enough.

Darn near dropped my laptop laughing at these posts….but of course they are all in good fun.

It amazes me daily that these “brave” women put up with all the “man” stuff we throw their ways. I know I throw some major guy stuff her way….and she takes it in…gives me “the look” ...and saves it up to let me have it another time…errr I mean she takes it all in stride….

Now I have never personally threatened to remodel her (I think we all have great ideas about the tools necessary to do the job).....but I can admit to some innovative remodeling ideas I have come up with during one of those times she feels the need to discuss my many perceived shortcomings….but then…its all in good fun…isnt it?

Thanks Dave, I will pm you this evening when I get back from this miserable job I’m on today – 105 degrees in the shade up here….

I’ve been upgrading like mad due to the “extra space” I’ve got now due to the converting this old horsebarn into a shop and have a few things I will certainly trade/sell….I have been inudated (sp?) by friends and peers with tool offers…I expect to make two major investments – a real cabinet style table saw (instead of my contractors and hybrids) and a larger lathe (to replace my 14” jet). With all the rough work I have been doing lately I am hoping I can get back the patience it takes to do detail work….

I agree with Jim, and besides, there’s no way I’m bashing my wife here. (She sometimes reads what I have to say!) That and I’ve shown you guys some of the fantastic tools she has bought me. Why would I give that up!

Yes Dear, I’ll go back to work now.

Hey Jim, I agree my wife of 14 years is my best freind too. The only thing is, when I start being a pain to her, she sends me to “my room”. That is what she calls my shop. Kinda the best of both worlds. When I behave we are together, when not she tells me to go play with wood. I love it!

I’ve got a Delta 6” jointer from the 30’s – missing the 2 crank handles, but those can be found.

I have a miller falls breast drill with level (12A I think)

A bunch of step pulleys and a few heavy duty switches.

An 8 year old guinea pig. Guinea pigs have a 5-7 year average life span, so no warranty is included. Her morning whistle is now kind of a morning wheeze. She’s been through second grade 7 times, so she’s smarter than the average guinea pig.

Will trade for Lie-Neilsen inlay tools or bench chisels.
