I purchased a house recently. It was built between 1949 and 1956 depending on who we ask. I don’t know enough to tell the difference. It looks like this: and an unstained bit: I’m guessing that because of the age of the house, it is either Heart Pine or Oak. Both are/were common in the Georgia area. At some point in the past 50 years, those floors were covered by carpet. There should be a law. -- Sometimes... At night... My router tells me to do things to wood. Bad Things. |
