Identifying floor boards

It’s hard to tell from the photos the one with out stain could be oak but it’s hard to see with photos you have.

Yeah. I’m not in the country right, so I told the wife to cut a small piece off in a closet or take a little bit off the end of where it transitions to tile and bring it to the lumber yard and ask them.

That second picture and some of the grain in the first one almost looks like walnut. I don’t think it is commonly used for flooring. I would lay my two cents that it is oak instead of pine.

I just looked thru a box of reclaimed hardwood flooring samples that are in the shop and my guess is Oak.
