Des Moines Woodworking Tool Stores?

There is a Woodsmith Store on Hickman road on the north, kinda northwest section of Des Moines or one of the many attached suburbs. I assume it’s like any other Woodsmith. I thought it was expensive. Bob’s Tools is at Southeast 14th and Army Post Road, very southeast corner of Des Moines. He specializes in contractors and power tools, not much in the way of hand tools, really not much at all for fine woodworking. Hope this helps, I haven’t been in the area for over a year now. BTKS

I’m with BTKS. I moved from Des Moines a couple of years ago but the Woodsmith Store is pretty good. I believe it’s where the local woodworking group meets too. Their website and directions on how to get there can be found here.
