Has anyone purchased one of these Veritas custom bench planes from Lee Valley? It seems like a great way to get a very special plane.,230,41182,48944

Thanks for this one Chuck.
I’m sending some shavings away today.
I bought the vertical workbench (featured in the background) last year and it has revolutionized my workspace. I no longer have a cluttered bench top and the saved floor space is nice too.

I want one but I just don’t know if I “merit owning a custom Veritas plane” lol. I love my Veritas tools and that video made me laugh, thanks for posting.

Hilarious video. Thanks for posting. Their stuff sure looks nice!

Having a hard time understanding the vertical bench idea. Seems to foreign to me.

In addition to the vertical workbench, I noticed that this year’s video also uses the Precision Story Tape. The odd thing about this product is that, as opposed to the other April 1 products, this one can actually be purchased.

My all time favorite is the Pouchless Tool Belt. It is worth reading this one just for the Disclaimer at the end.

A++ for Veritas for producing such a great video. They will have my future order.
