How hard to remove a chuck?

thiel home | projects | blog 87 posts in 170 days 126 days ago	Gang, I just picked up a new mortising machine, and I wanted to remove the chuck so I could install a provided chuck extension… but I just can’t get the thing to budge. How hard should it be? Should I force it? Is this gonna cause me trouble later in life (or in another?) Thanks! —Thiel -- Laziness - Apathy = Efficiency
a1Jim home | projects | blog 15521 posts in 455 days 126 days ago	I’m assuming you have loosened the allen head scew that holds the chisel in and of course loosened the chuck the holds the drill part of the mortiser.
