How hard to remove a chuck?

thiel home | projects | blog 95 posts in 188 days 145 days ago	Gang, I just picked up a new mortising machine, and I wanted to remove the chuck so I could install a provided chuck extension… but I just can’t get the thing to budge. How hard should it be? Should I force it? Is this gonna cause me trouble later in life (or in another?) Thanks! —Thiel -- Laziness - Apathy = Efficiency
a1Jim home | projects | blog 16910 posts in 473 days 145 days ago	I’m assuming you have loosened the allen head scew that holds the chisel in and of course loosened the chuck the holds the drill part of the mortiser.
