Well as a Dental orthodontic technician for nigh over twenty nine years my old skill “not used for about the last eighteen years or more “came in very handy tonight.I have a Delta scrollsaw and stripped the threads on the bolts which tighten up the blade closer, anyway I made new bolts and hand nuts with knurled edges and went to fit them and of course everything which surrounds it back together ( the Hand book was little comfort or help as usual). Guess what I couldn’t do it just too shaky for the job .My young nephew is here and fitted it for me unfortuanately he lost one of the springs and we searched and searched and couldn’t find it.I know “I thought- ” give me a piece of half mm spring wire and I can make a new one.I couldn’t find any Orthodontic wire as I had probably thrown it out. Anyway a guitar string became the new hold together spring ingenuity wins the day.One very happy Scottish Bunny. l o l Alistair
