Topic tags/keywords: uploading pics question tip

Greetings Everyone,

I recently joined LJ and uploaded a few projects pics. Can anyone tell me why my Iphone pics all appear sideways in my project profile. How can I correct this for next time?

Thanks.

I don’t know why it happens, but someone posted a while back how to fix it. If you crop your pictures on your phone they will be right side up.

I don’t know why either but if you take the picture with your phone turned sideways like a landscape pic but do not switch your phone to landscape it should correct the issue. That is what corrected the pics I take with Galaxy.

Iphone pics taken with the home button at the right (sideays, as joey says) will insert nicely to ljs.

You don’t even have to crop them. Just open the picture, edit, rotate, save and then rotate back to correct and save again. Now post them.

You don’t even have to open, edit, rotate and save. Just take them in landscape mode in the first place!
