Looks like a great buy @ $350 if it runs well. -- Happiness is like wetting your pants...everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.... |

Even as a no name, with a 3hp single phase motor, that should be a great deal for someone. |

Hey Dave. I live in southern Jeffco, but I don’t need a saw. Thanks anyway. -- Bill M. "People change, walnut doesn't" by Gene. |

Even as a no name… It’s a Sunhill… and the description in the ad says it’s a 2HP (although the side bar says 3HP, so who knows!). Looks like it might be on a mobile base as well, but seems to be missing the extension wings and doesn’t look like it’s seen much love recently. I wouldn’t buy it, but I’m sure there is someone out there who will. Cheers, -- Brad in FL - In Dog I trust... everything else is questionable |

Looks pretty good to me. The cabinet isn’t skinned up, paint looks good, top could use dusting and some elbow grease. It says it comes with extensions and fence. Could be a bargain. -- missouri, dave |

Go for it :) AFAIK, Sunhill was made (rebadged) by Geetech and is your basic import (made by ChiuTing Machinery Co., Ltd. in Taiwan) and are apparently no longer in business. Story I hear is that the father (owner of Sunhill) died, and the son took it over and then closed down. Based on the fact that the description says 2Hp, yet the side bar says 3Hp, I would take the rest of the description with some scepticism. OWWM Rule #1 comes to mind here. For $350, I’d rather hold out for a nice used Unisaw, PM66 or similar saw than dump it into an old Taiwanese saw from a company that is now out of business… YMMV. So MrUnix, I take it that you’re not interested? Sorry to offend your royal unisawness with a POS taiwanese CL ad -- missouri, dave |
