In the picture below you can see the lip that I’m creating on my box lids.(the lid is the zebrawood). The lids are then glued onto the box. I am using my router table with a micro adjustment jig from rockler to take off a little bit at a time. I am currently using a spiral up-cut bit. Is there a better bit that I should be using?

If you’re using a router table, I’d just go with a good Straight Bit; larger the better if you’re going to just create lips like that, taking a little off at a time, IMO.
