Has anyone ever used the Micro Mesh hook and loop pads on their oscillatinng multitool? I dreamed about it recently while working my way through the nine grits on a project that was a little larger than the 2” round discs I have are intended for. I’m concerned that the speed or movement of the tool would work against me and damage the finish. What do you think? I have a Rockwell Sonicrafter. Thought I’d ask before trying it out on a sample.

I’ve used them with my multitool and had no problems. Mine is shaped more like a large guitar pick to allow getting into corners. Your speed concerns may be valid. I used a friends Rockwell for grout removal and found out that it would not go has slow has my Makita.
