I would like to have a sliding table saw simular to the Laguna TSS. This is the smallest sliding table saw i could find that does not have the outriggers for support like the grizzly accessori model #G8010 (an extra leg supporting the rail) but the Laguna is a bit out of my price range. Searching the web I did find a Jet table saw with the sliding bed just the way I want it but with a EURO price tag. I can’t even find it on their web site! Does anyone have info on this saw or maybe another that will work for me?

I’ve seen shop made plans for one. If it were me I’d just make a sled. I’ve used the jet, ryobi bt 3000 and they kind of limit other operations you can do plus there not as versatile as a sled or two.

i recently bought an old uni saw it it has the sliding table attachment and i love it, it quickly became the most used tool in my shop if your trying to get the sliding feature its a good place to start at a much lower price. it also looks like with a bit of tinkering around i could make the table on this attachment much larger if i wanted to. I’ve never seen thee jet saw your referring to and I’ve just spent allot of time researching saws sorry if i haven’t been any help.

p.s. here’s a pic of the slider

Not really sure what your price range is but Dewalt does have a sliding table attachments for their table saws. I know the wuality is suppose to be pretty good. Although I dont have one, I would love a sliding table also.
