Well my wife and I are moving south to the greater Cincinnati area within a couple months for her job, so…as for me, does anyone know of someone/place which could use an furniture/cabinet apprentice or assistant? Or I do have a BS is Graphic Design I can work that avenue also. Any help would be great, and any good stores/shops in Cincy? I think UC does have a cabinet program?

I’m from that area, but haven’t lived there in a while so not much I could tell you, but yes, UC does have some kind of program. Check out this link from a fellow LJ.

Don’t know who’s hiring but I do know where the wood stores are.

Rockler is in Tri county.

The Hardwood and more store is in Milford.

Go to both but love the Hardwood and More. They are some guys from Paxton Lumber who started their own place.

They had a huge slab of waterfall Bubinga. They have good prices on wood, and veneers.

There is a few small cabinet shops around town, in Madisonville and Amelia.

Born here, raised in Florida, made it back at 14. Except some time in the Army been here ever since.

Welcome to Cincy, good chili, nice place bad football team.
